Air ambulance companies cater to critical patients unable to travel on commercial flights. While you can still use this service, the cost is significantly higher than using Med-Air Assist as you are paying for a medical flight crew and use of a private aircraft. We cater specifically to passengers who can safely travel on commercial flights but require or desire medical support. Patients with wounds and dressings should provide their own supplies. However, Med-Air Assist carries additional supplies to handle dressings in-flight if needed. 

For diabetic patients, we will check blood sugar using our devices, but patients should provide their own prescribed insulin supply. For non-diabetic patients who require blood sugar checks and emergency insulin, we can check blood sugar and provide emergency insulin if needed. Additional charges may apply for emergency medication provided by us. 

No, Med-Air Assist provides oxygen with our own FAA approved oxygen devices. 

To book with us, first, contact us for a quote. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Once the deposit is made, we'll commence planning together to ensure a safe and comfortable flight. 

While we have a standard pricing model, the total cost varies based on mileage and airfare fluctuations at the time of booking. For the most accurate estimate, please fill out the form on our site and contact us for a free quote. 

We provide services up to the airport only. We allow up to an hour after the landing time for passenger pickup. If our assistance or service is required beyond this hour, additional charges will apply. 

If the flight is canceled by the airline, we will make every effort to secure an alternative flight for you. Additional costs may apply for differences in airfare. If an alternative flight cannot be found, a full refund of the deposit will be issued. We strive to book flights with sufficient time to accommodate potential delays. There are no additional charges for delayed flights unless a new reservation has to be made to avoid scheduling conflicts. 

Yes, our services extend to international flights as well. With the rise in medical tourism, more individuals are traveling overseas for medical treatments and even cosmetic procedures. International flight services has become one our most sought out services.
